After bagging decent success with V15 and V15 Pro, the Chinese phone maker is looking to introduce the successor to V15 in India. According to the sources, the phone maker will soon launch the new V17 in the Indian market. As of now, there is no official confirmation on the nomenclature but going with Vivo's naming strategy, it is speculated that V15 successor could be called as V17. Moreover, a report from 91Mobiles also hints that Vivo is working on V17 smartphone and could be launched in India around October. Vivo Y90 Smartphone With 4030 mAh Battery Launched in India at Rs 6,990.

The report also hints that the company might incorporate a dual pop-up selfie camera module on Vivo V17. It is speculated that the smartphone might carry a similar design as that of Oppo Reno. Considering this, the upcoming Vivo V17 could bear Oppo Reno like Shark-fin camera upfront featuring two sensors on it.

The report also mentioned that the company will be eying the Indian festive season and it is highly expected that the phone might go official around Diwali. It is also rumoured that the forthcoming Vivo V17 will sport four cameras at the rear.  Currently, there is no other information available about the device.

The Chinese smartphone maker is also working on V17 Neo which has been listed on Google Play Console. It is believed that the Vivo V17 Neo will be a part of V17 Series and the company might launch the device alongside Vivo V17. Nokia 8.2 Smartphone Likely To Feature 32MP Pop-up Selfie Camera: Report.

The Google Play Console has revealed some keys details about the V17 Neo, wherein the device will carry a waterdrop notch. This clearly suggests there will be no pop-up selfie camera on V17 Neo. Moreover, the handset will carry FHD+ panel with resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Under the hood, there could be a MediaTek Helio P65 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The device is expected to run Android 9 Pie OS out of the box with FunTouch OS UI. Expect more details surfacing on the net as the probable launch approaches.
