Vivo recently launched a new premium Vivo X21 smartphone in India with a price tag of Rs. 35,990. The Chinese smartphone maker is all set to announce two new smartphones on 12 June in China. The company recently posted a teaser of the upcoming smartphone - Vivo NEX on Weibo which revealed a front facing pop-up camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Ahead of its launch, new reports have surfaced on the internet revealing the leaked images and specifications. As per the report from mysmartprice.com, Vivo is also expected to unveil a new smartphone which is expected to be called as Vivo NEX S alongside Vivo NEX wherein the latter is expected to be packed with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with an 8GB of RAM. The device will run on Android Oreo OS with a fusion of the company’s Funtouch OS skin.
As for aesthetics, the phone might come in glass and metal body. Now coming to the cameras, the smartphone could feature a dual camera setup at the rear (12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor) with a soft LED flash. At the front, the device could have a 5MP pop-up camera for selfies and video calling. The phone may pack a 4,000mAh battery. Coming to the prices, it can be speculated that Vivo NEX in China may come at a price tag of CNY 6,998 (Rs. 73,515) whereas the NEX S might cost CNY 4,998 (approx. Rs. 52,505).
On the other hand, the upcoming Vivo NEX S is expected to get a 6.59-inch display with FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, the device is speculated to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor paired with a 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage space.
