Mumbai, July 8: Vodafone Idea Limited has made a new move after hiking tariffs last week. The Indian telecom giant reportedly increased the price of its REDX postpaid plan and included a Netflix subscription along with other benefits. Previously, the Vodafone Idea REDX plan was priced at INR 1,101, and now it is available at INR 1,201. The telecommunication company raised INR 100 after announcing its new 5G plans for customers after Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.

Vodafone Idea announced its new REDX Plan in its official press release today, highlighting certain benefits besides the included Netflix subscription. Vodafone Idea's all-new REDX plan further said that its postpaid customers who opt for this new INR 1,201 plan could enjoy world-class entertainment on devices such as mobile phones or televisions. Further, the company said that the Vodafone Idea REDX plan would integrate entertainment, travel, dining, security, and priority customer service—all included within INR 1,201.

The VI REDX postpaid plan would allow customers access to Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv and Sun TXT. The users would also get a one-year membership of Swiggy One worth INR 199 for six months and get a discount on Swiggy Genie or Swiggy Dineout. The company said it would allow customers to access four times domestic and one international airport. The REDX postpaid plan from Vodafone Idea also would offer access to Norton mobile security for 12 months. The company said the customers would get a dedicated desk at Vi Stores and access the best call centre agents for faster solutions through this plan.
