Edinburgh, October 6: Apple has recently rolled out a new update for its iPhones with a new iOS 17 update. According to reports, a female personal trainer living in Edinburgh with the name "Siri Prince" has said she is forced to change her name. She further states that she had to endure for years when the iPhone started pinging every time people used to speak to her. The 26-year-old Siri Prince has changed her name to "Siz." 

Further, she added to a report published by The Sun that she works in a gym with many people around her, and she has learned not to say "Hey" when they greet her. She added that if they said "Hey," the iPhones started beeping. According to her, it was annoying to her but manageable. Siri Prince says, "Now people can't even say my name. I'm fuming" to The Sun. She further states that her friends would have to sit down and devise a workaround; otherwise, the iPhones started beeping non-stop. Siri Prince even shares an incident with her boyfriend that after the update to her boyfriend's iPhone, every time he spoke to her, the phone would wake up. According to Wikipedia, the name "Siri" is of Scandinavian origin and a combination of two elements, "Sigr," which means "Victory," and frior" which means "Beautiful." Siri is a short form of "Sigrid," it has been used by many females since the middle ages. Siri Prince from Edinburgh says, "I'm sure Apple could have picked something else instead-." According to her, many people have the name "Siri," and all their lives have become unbearable. As per the report, another 27-year-old woman named "Alexa Seary" also had to come up with terms for her name as it is also the name of Amazon's Virtual Assistant, "Alexa." According to the report, Google maintains good phrases like "Ok, Google" or "Hey, Google" to avoid automatically setting off while talking about the search engine or any related topic. The British broadcast newspaper The Sun has approached Apple to comment on the incident.
