New Delhi, July 17: UK's competition regulator, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), has reportedly initiated an antitrust investigation into Microsoft's recent hiring from AI startup, Inflection AI, which has raised concerns and resulted in a formal investigation. Reports suggest that the UK authority is looking into whether Microsoft's hiring from Inflection AI could possibly create unfair competition in the AI industry. The investigation is likely to see if Microsoft's actions do not negatively impact the market, particularly in the rapidly evolving AI sector.

The deal would see Adept's CEO and key employees moving to Amazon and giving Amazon access to Adept's AI technology and data.
