UberBoat Services Launched in Mumbai From Gateway of India to Elephanta, Alibaug: How to Book the Ride

With an aim to expand its operations further, Uber has officially launched UberBoat - a Speedboat services in Mumbai. Touted as the most convenient, speedboat hire service in India, the service is scheduled to commence from February 1, 2019 and the customers can book the speedboat via Uber app only. The Speedboat service from the leading transportation networking company will be offered from Gateway of India to Mandwa (near Alibaug) and Elephanta Caves. The company is offering two ride options from Mumbai to Alibaug which includes UberBoat and UberBoat XL. As far as the prices are concerned, the Uberboat can take around 6 to 8 passengers that is priced at Rs 5700. On the other hand, the Uberboat XL, which is a bigger speedboats is capable of carrying more than 10 passengers. The customers opting for the UberXL will have to shed Rs 9500.

It is important to note that these fares are offered from point-to-point journey across any two of the three ports- between Gateway of India to Elephanta and Mandwa (Alibaug).

Here are some other essential things to notice while booking a speedboat -

1. The customers need to book the speedboat at least 15 minutes before coming to the port.

2. This marine service from Uber will be available from 8 AM to 5 PM.

3. Travel time between Mumbai and Alibaug is expected to be around 20 minutes.
