New Delhi, August 18: Telegram has rolled out a new feature update that introduces Star Reactions and Super Channels to make it easier for users to support their favourite content creators and manage their channels more effectively. The Telegram new feature update includes several features like Star subscriptions, paid media for bots and business accounts and a new mode for Telegram Channels. It will help admins to post as their other channels or personal profiles. These updates are expected to enhance the user experience and provide more tools for content creators to monetise their efforts.

As per the information available on the official website, users can send Telegram Stars to their favourite channels by which channel owners can convert into Toncoin cryptocurrency rewards or subsidised ads. Star Subscriptions enable content creators to offer exclusive content, VIP livestreams or early access media in exchange for a monthly fee paid in Telegram Stars. Each post with Star Reactions displays a leaderboard with the top senders, though users can maintain their privacy by opting out of appearing on the leaderboard. Star Subscriptions allow content creators to create special invite links that require a monthly fee paid in Telegram Stars. Setting up a paid link is simple and can be done through the channel settings. Telegram's new update also includes paid media options for bots and business accounts. The Super Channels feature allows admins to post in a Telegram channel as their other channels or personal profiles. To enable the feature, admins should go to channel settings and turn on Sign Messages and Show Authors' Profiles.
