Taiwanese Hacker Threats to Delete Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s Account; Promises to Live Stream the Event

Like you, even we are not sure, if this hacker can actually delete Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook account. But it surely alerted the CEO of Facebook, and maybe he should change his password and reset the security questions, before something serious again brings the social media platform into the news. Facebook is already facing scrutiny over how it handles the private information of its users and the recent threat coming from a Taiwanese hacker, is making it worst. 24-year-old “white hat” hacker further claimed that he would live stream the event on Facebook, this Sunday. Chang Chi wrote in a Facebook post to his 26,000 followers promising to delete Zuckerberg’s account. It shall be noted that he is any random person but is a well-known hacker in Taiwan. Chang has previously been named in Japanese tech firm Line Corp’s hall of fame of bug hunters as a “special contributor.” A translation provided by Bloomberg, the 24-year-old wrote, “Broadcasting the deletion of FB founder Zuck’s account. Scheduled to go live.”Chang was reportedly sued by a local bus operator for hacking into its system and buying a ticket for a single Taiwanese dollar (Rs. 2.38).
Earlier too, hackers had their eyes on to Facebook co-founder’s account. If successful, this would not be the first time that Zuckerberg’s account has been hacked. As per reports, in 2011, a hacker broke in and wrote a status which began with the phrase, “Let the hacking begin.” It was also reported that the social media platform had deleted some of Zuckerberg’s private messages in the fear that he might get hacked. The stream would be scheduled to go live on Sunday, September 30 at 6:00 pm local time in Taiwan, which is 3:30 pm in India.
