New Delhi, October 6: Swiggy is reportedly close to finalising a deal to sponsor the upcoming season 4 of Shark Tank India. As per reports, the agreement is said to exclude Zomato's founder, Deepinder Goyal, as part of the conditions. The deal, if confirmed, would make Swiggy the main sponsor of the popular business reality show.

Swiggy's approach to sponsor Shark Tank season 4 while excluding a key rival's founder highlights its competitive approach in the food delivery market. As per a report of Money Control, Swiggy is likely to sponsor Shark Tank India Season 4. However, the sponsorship deal includes exceptions for Deepinder Goyal, founder of Zomato, who may not be involved in the show. ‘Went Out To Deliver Orders’: Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Teams Up With Wife Gia Goyal To Deliver Food to Customers in Gurgaon (See Pics).

Swiggy has reportedly agreed to sponsor Shark Tank India, but only if the founder of Zomato does not come back as an investor. According to a report of Times of India, Swiggy is in talks to secure a sponsorship deal for the next season of Shark Tank India, which could be worth between INR 40-60 crore. In its revised Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP), Swiggy mentioned that out of the INR 3,750 crore it aims to raise, INR 950 crore will be used for marketing and increasing brand awareness.
