According to a report in CNET, Lisa proudly told her friends that her father named, Lisa the computer after her. But they told her that they never heard of a computer with that name. When finally she asked Jobs if the computer was named after her, he dismissed saying no.

In the early 2000s, she went on a yacht trip in the Mediterranean with her, and they stopped by Bono's villa in South France. The singer then asked Jobs about the origin of the computer's name, and he admitted that it was his daughter.

In the memoir published in the September issue of Vanity Fair, Brennan-Jobs also talks about her complicated relationship with her famous father. Jobs denied her paternity until a DNA test in 1980 proved him to be Lisa's father.
