This wearable air conditioner from Sony is really cheaper than the regular ACs that can be bought at a price of $130 approximately Rs 9,000. Moreover, the mini air conditioner has also been listed on kick-starter to raise funds for making this device.
This portable device easily fits into the inner wear from the rear. The best part is that the temperature of the device can not only be monitored but also controlled with the help of an app installed on the smartphone. The technology employed in making Reon Pocket has been derived from the ones we see in cars and wine chillers. The inner wear with a pocket to fit the device is offered in three different sizes - Small (S), Medium (M) and Large (L). As of now, the company also states that the inner wear is available for men only.
Talking about the Reon Pocket, this mini air conditioner is fitted with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The company claims that the user can wear the smart device throughout the day by charging for only 2 hours. Moreover, this Sony's wearable AC supports Bluetooth 5.0 for pairing with the smartphone.
