New Delhi, August 29: Snapchat is reportedly rolling out an update for its iPad users. As per reports, the multimedia messaging app has introduced native support for iPads. The update is expected to enhance the user experience of iPad users. Ever since it was introduced on iOS in 2011, Snapchat was accessible on iPhones and iPads.

In the past, the Snapchat app on iPads looked the same as the version on iPhones, which caused black borders on the sides. But now, with the latest update, Snapchat has been specifically made to work better on iPads. It means that when a user will open the Snapchat app on an iPad, it will fill the entire screen without any black borders. Zoho Launches Zoho Payments, Unified Payment Solution for Businesses in India.

As per a report of Business Standard, Snapchat has rolled out native iPad support with a new update. Now, Snapchat will fill an iPad's full screen to provide an enhanced viewing experience. The company emphasised the app is optimised for the larger iPad screen. While the app now fully supports iPad, it is important to note that it operates only in portrait mode and does not support landscape mode as of now. Now, with native iPad support, the multimedia messaging app is expected to deliver smooth performance and better visual quality on a larger screen. It has been reported that the iPad interface had some glitches in its first release. Users might encounter minor issues as Snapchat works on refining the experience. The iPad interface only functions in portrait mode and does not support landscape mode, which could be a limitation for some users who prefer using their iPads horizontally.
