The smartwatches come with a wide range of features that allow the users to get updates about their health and help them in a difficult situation. How Apple Watch Saved Peter Moore's Life?

According to a report by KTLA, Peter Moore was on his way to pick up his daughter at the airport, but he felt lightheaded and faint, which caused him to fall off. Peter couldn't understand what it was and thought going to Starbucks would fix it. Then, he got a notification on his phone showing a "low heart rate" alert. He said he had never seen such a notification before. Peter Moore carefully looked at it, and it showed his heart rate falling. He said, "...my heart rate had dropped to 32. And it was insistent in its notifications that something wasn't right."

In this situation, Peter Moore called his wife, who advised him not to move as she could not reach him. After she got there, Peter was rushed to the hospital. He said the doctor theatrically ran to him and said, "This is not good. This not good." The doctor said that he would need a pacemaker as soon as possible.

Omid Yousefian, a doctor specialising in cardiac electrophysiology who treated Peter Moore at Sansum Clinic, confirmed that Apple Watch played a big role in saving his life. He said that people in their 40s usually showed higher chances of experiencing atrial fibrillation. The doctor praised wearable devices for their ability to detect heart rates but said they were limited as they couldn't detect heart attacks. Google Pixel 9 Series Launch on August 14: Tech Giant To Launch Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold Smartphones in India From 9 Series; Know What To Expect.
