What is a Meteor Shower?
Meteors are created by leftover comet particles and bits from the broken asteroids. So, when meteors pass close to the earth, they leave behind trails of dust and other particles. These particles are caught in earth’s gravity and fall towards the surface, burning up as they slope. Double Meteor Showers July 2019 Date and Time
Two meteor showers will peak simultaneously on the nights of July 28 and July 29, 2019. Again, the American Meteor Society (AMA) speculate both the Aquariids and Capricornids to grace up the sky on July 29 night to July 30, morning. They have been active since early July, 2019. AccuWeather predicts that both Aquariids and Capricornids should produce 20 to 25 meteors together per hour. It means, you have enough time to enjoy the beautiful event with your family and closed ones. Clear skies are also predicted for most of the central and western U.S., while rain, thunderstorms and clouds will unclear sky across the Great Lakes and parts of Arizona and New Mexico.
When to Watch Meteor Shower in India?
If you miss out meteor showers of July 2019, don’t worry as you will be able to spot some shooting starts in early nights of August. As per timeanddate.com, meteor shower in India will next set its peak from August 13 to August 14, 2019. The rain clouds will probably show some mercy during that time to enjoy the shooting stars.
