New Delhi, August 22: Samsung has reportedly rolled out a new update for its Galaxy Watch series by introducing the “Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification” feature for users in India. The new Samsung Galaxy Watch update is expected to enhance the health monitoring capabilities of the device by providing users with real-time notifications of irregular heart rhythms. The feature might help users keep track of their heart health effectively.

As per a report of Business Standard, Samsung has introduced the Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) feature to Galaxy Watches in India. The new feature might be particularly helpful for users who may be at risk of heart-related issues, as it is expected to alert them of any potential problems before they become serious. As per reports, the feature is available on Galaxy Watches that use Wear OS, including the new models like the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7. Other models that are eligible for the feature include the Galaxy Watch 6, Watch 5 and Watch 4 series UPI Booster: Money Management Startup INDmoney Lets Investors To Make UPI-Based Instant Withdrawals From Stock Market on Its Platform.

The new feature, combined with the app's existing blood pressure and electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring capabilities, is likely to provide Galaxy Watch users with a better understanding of their heart health. To use the feature, Galaxy Watch users should update the Samsung Health Monitor app on their watch by visiting the Galaxy Store. Once the app is updated, they can easily enable the IHRN feature by going to the settings menu within the app. PhonePe New Feature Update: Digital Payments Platform Introduces New Feature To Link Pre-Approved Credit Lines to UPI.

When you activate the IHRN feature in the Samsung Health Monitor app, it keeps a constant check on your heart rhythms using the BioActive Sensor in your Galaxy Watch. If it detects a certain number of irregular heart rhythms in a row, it alerts you about the possibility of atrial fibrillation (AFib) activity. It prompts you to take an ECG (electrocardiogram) using your watch. Along with the existing blood pressure and heart rate monitoring, the new feature is expected to provide detailed information about your cardiovascular health.
