Samsung is reportedly adding two new security features to Galaxy smartphones and tablets, which include Quick Share Private Sharing and Samsung Cloud Enhanced Data Protection. These updates are expected to enhance the security of personal and sensitive information stored and shared by Galaxy smartphone users. Samsung's new features will likely provide its users more control over their data stored in the Samsung Cloud. The Enhanced Data Protection for Samsung Cloud feature comes with an extra layer of security for user's data by using end-to-end encryption. It means that only the original Samsung device can decrypt the data stored in the Samsung Cloud account.
Samsung's Quick Share Private Sharing feature allows secure file sharing between Samsung devices. Users can set time limits on shared files to make them inaccessible once the timer runs out. They can also specify who can view and access the files. Recipients can only read the files and cannot distribute them further. Files are protected using blockchain-based encryption technology and screenshots are blocked for privacy.
