Mumbai, June 17: Samsung's new flip smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, was recently spotted on Geekbench, hinting at an imminent launch. The successor of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to be announced this year with significant upgrades in performance. Before the global launch announcement, some key details about the Galaxy Z Flip 6 are revealed online.

The report highlighted that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 scored 2247 on single-core and 6857 on multi-core on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The device was spotted with model number SM-F741B on the website and reportedly hinted at having up to 12GB RAM and an octa-core processor. The report also highlighted that the device could be launched with an Android 14-powered OS, offering a smooth user experience. 

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Specifications and Features (Expected)

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to sport a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display offering a maximum 120Hz refresh rate and 2640x1080 resolution. It is also expected to sport a 3.4-inch cover display with 720x748 resolution. According to the report, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to feature a 50MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultrawide camera with f/2,2 aperture and a 10MP front camera. With the camera setup, the flip smartphone would help users record up to 4K videos at 60 fps, 1080p videos at 60 fps, and 1080p slow-motion videos at 120 and 240 fps. The report mentioned that the device would also come with basic features like Bluetooth 5.3, USB 3.2 generation 1 support, and Wi-Fi 6E. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to have a 4,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. More details will be unveiled soon before Samsung's July 10 event.
