Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9+ Release Schedule With Launch And Shipping Date Leaked: Rumoured Images And Features Surface Online

The flagship phones will be announced on February 26, during the Mobile World Congress convention- the world’s largest annual mobile industry trade show in Barcelona, Spain.

New Delhi, January 17: The most awaited Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will soon be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, but the dates for the biggest launch have surfaced online a week before. Famous industry insider Evan Blass in his tweet posted the announcement, pre-order, and release dates for the Galaxy S9.  According to the tweet, the phones will be announced on February 26, during the Mobile World Congress convention- the world’s largest annual mobile industry trade show in Barcelona, Spain. The phones will reportedly ship and hit store shelves on March 16, 2018.

AS per tweets by the same source, Samsung’s next pair of Android flagships will be open for pre-orders on March 1st, three days after making its premiere official appearance at this year’s iteration of the Mobile World Congress. Earlier, Samsung has already confirmed it will announce the smartphone in late-February.

The company’s annual flagship phone release sets a benchmark by which all other phone releases are being judged. As the launch day approaches, there are questions that come up like will these flagship phones have similar designs to the current Galaxy S8, or will it have upgraded cameras and a powerful processor?

As per reports, both the handsets are rumoured to have a 64GB internal memory base. As per many industry watchers, Samsung is unlikely to see a price hike for its Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus and is rumoured to start at approximately $700 and $800 respectively.  As per battery is concerned, both the flagship phones- Galaxy S9 and S9+ will likely pack the same size batteries as their predecessors but might last longer on a charge as Qualcomm promises GPU in the Snapdragon 845 chip has 30 percent better power efficiency. As per reports by Tomsguide, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will likely include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage standard. Reports further state that the S9 and S9+ are expected to feature Super AMOLED panels at 5.8 inches and 6.2 inches, respectively.
