The tech giant Samsung is expected to launch its new Note series – Galaxy Note 9 smartphone on August 9. The upcoming smartphone might be unveiled at an event held in New York, where the smartphone company is also expected to showcase their Galaxy Watch. However, yesterday, a tech website MySmartPrice.com published an unboxing video of the upcoming new Note series on YouTube ahead of its launch. Here’s the video.
As per the video, the specifications expected on the device are as follows. The smartphone is likely to get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC for the US market, whereas in other countries it may have the Exynos 9810 processor. The device has been shown to sport a 6.3-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a screen aspect ratio of 19.2:9. The device comes with a horizontal dual camera setup of 12MP + 12MP OIS sensors, whereas for the selfies and video calling options, the phone gets an 8MP sensor at the front. The model featured in the video showcased a 6 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage variant and is expected to get up to 8 GB RAM/ 512 GB internal space.
Coming to the connectivity options, the new phone may feature a 4,000 mAh battery along with wireless charging option and type – C USB support. The Note 9 device is likely to get an AKG – tuned earphone along with micro USB to type-C USB adapter.
