Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone at an event held in New York tomorrow. Apart from being the most-anticipated smartphone of the year, the new Galaxy Note 9 phone also faced the most number of leaks before its launch, in terms of images, specifications, features and price. Earlier this month, Samsung themselves “accidentally” uploaded a teaser video of their upcoming smartphone on their official YouTube channel, and revealed the design and a few features of the phone. The video which was later taken down. Earlier this month, a Russian Twitter user posted a retail box of the upcoming smartphone, which revealed its specifications. As per the retail box, the smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch QHD+ AMOLED display that is certified IP68 water resistance. A dual rear camera setup that comprises a 12MP + 12MP sensors, whereas, at the front, the device features an 8MP lens. The box also showcased 6 GB RAM, S Pen stylus, a 4,000 mAh battery and AKG headphones. Fortnite Game Could Be Launched Alongside Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Smartphone on August 9.

Other leaked reports also suggest that powering the new Galaxy Note 9 phone could be the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC or Exynos 9810 processor, which would differ from region to region. The iconic S Pen from Samsung is also rumoured to come in different colour options along with Bluetooth functionality. Also, the button on the S Pen may have various functions to control the music player and to take photographs. Bixby 2.0 AI assistant, AI cameras, wireless charging support and new optimised UI, is also rumoured to feature in the upcoming flagship smartphone.

Coming to the launch date in India, the device could be introduced on August 22. And as for the prices, the 128 GB storage model will be around Rs 75,800 and the 512 GB variant may be priced up to Rs 97,400.
