Samsung, a South Korean smartphone manufacturer is expected to launch the new Galaxy Note 9 in next couple of months. However, a new report from BGR states that the company might launch the new Galaxy Note 9 device on August 9 which is two weeks ahead of previous Galaxy Note model. It is expected that the new smartphone will carry a major improvement in the camera department, however, the overall design of the device could remain untouched as that of its predecessor. Now, new render images of the smartphone have surfaced online ahead of its official launch revealing some design details.
Going by the CAD renders from Onleaks in collaboration with 91mobiles, it is expected that the Galaxy Note 9 will retain the overall design with the previous model, however, the fingerprint sensor could be re-positioned. Moreover, the renders seem to be in-line with the rumors which hinted that the company could retain Note 8 design to keep the costs low.
The smartphone is speculated to sport glass back featuring dual rear camera setup vertically aligned similarly to the one seen on Note 8. However, the fingerprint rear at the rear will be shifted below the camera raising concerns over design and response time. The rendered image has also confirmed that it will not be the first smartphone to sport in-display fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the volume rockers will be on the left side of the smartphone whereas the Bixby button will be on the right. Coming to the camera specifications, the company will be making huge improvements in the camera department for catching up with the likes of HTC U12+ and Huawei P20 Pro. The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 SoC or Exynos 9810 depending on the market, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Moreover, the smartphone will be IP67 water and dust resistant as well as wireless charging and S Pen.
