Mumbai, September 20: After launching the Galaxy F05, Samsung is ready with another smartphone, the Galaxy M55s, which will launch in the Indian market next week under the M series lineup. The South Korean tech giant will officially launch the Galaxy M55s 5G phone on September 23. A microsite on Amazon reveals details of the upcoming 5G handset, including features and specifications.  The phone will retail exclusively via Amazon, Samsung’s official website and offline retailers. Here’s what we can expect from Samsung’s upcoming 5G phone.

Samsung Galaxy M55s Design:

As per details shown on Amazon, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G phone will boast a fusion double design pattern showcasing sleek and lightweight design. The phone will be available in two colours - Thunder Black and Coral Green. It will have 7.8mm of thickness. Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in Stunning White Colour Teased.

Samsung Galaxy M55s Display:

The Samsung Galaxy M55s will sport a massive 6.7-inch SuperAMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 units of peak brightness. The panel also gets a punch-hole cut-out that houses the front camera. It will also use Samsung’s Vision Booster technology to improve the viewing experience in bright outdoor conditions.

Samsung Galaxy M55s Processor & Other Details:

Powering the Samsung Galaxy M55s could be a Qualcomm-sourced Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Samsung Galaxy M55s Camera:

For photography, Samsung will incorporate the Galaxy M55s with a vertically-aligned triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone will also support a dual recording feature, which allows users to capture videos from both front and rear cameras simultaneously. It will also pack the handset with a Nightography feature for low-light imaging. The front camera will be a 50MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

Samsung Galaxy M55s Battery, OS & Expected Price:

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy M55s is said to be backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It will run on the brand’s OneUI 5.0 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box. As it will come as a successor to the Galaxy M55, we expect Samsung to launch the Galaxy M55s between INR 25,999 and INR 30,000.
