With the increasing demand for M-Series smartphones, Samsung India is looking to expand its product portfolio by launching Galaxy M40 in India. Scheduled to be launched in the country on June 11, the smartphone is tipped to feature 6.3-inch display and up to 128GB internal space. We already know that Samsung Galaxy M40 will be packed with an Infinity-O display. To be pitted against the likes of Poco F1 and Nokia 7.1, the forthcoming Galaxy M40 is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 675 SoC. Moreover, the M-Series has been doing great for Samsung wherein the South Korean smartphone maker crossed 2 million sales mark since its launch. On the specification front, the phone will be sport a 6.3-inch FHD+ Infinity-O display with 2340X1080 pixels as per the reports from SamMobile. It is also learnt that the handset will also feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal space. The device is likely to be backed by a 3,500 mAh battery. Previously, there were rumours in the market claiming that the phone will be shipped with a massive 5,000 mAh.

According to the report from SamMobile, the phone is expected to be equipped with a triple rear camera comprising of 32MP primary lens along with 5MP depth sensing and 8MP tertiary sensor with ultra-wide lens. Moreover, we could also be seeing a 16MP sensor upfront for video calling and selfies.

We already know that Samsung will making Galaxy M40 official in India on June 11 and the same has been teased on Amazon.in website, which is believed to be an official listing of the phone. Coming to the price point, it speculated that Galaxy M40 will be making its India debut with a starting price of around Rs 20,000. Expect more details coming out on the internet about the phone ahead of the official launch.
