Samsung, the Electronics major, re-launched the Galaxy Fold smartphone with an improved design and construction in its home market. The interested customers can pre-order the device from the official website. Going by the dedicated site, the Galaxy Fold is currently sold out in the home market. The company had cancelled the pre-orders received for the US market ahead of Galaxy Fold's re-launch in the Korean market. This foldable smartphone from Samsung will also be launched in the selected markets, including the US, UK & other European countries later this year. The South Korean consumer brand is also showcasing the foldable phone at the ongoing IFA 2019, offering a unique opportunity for the users to experience the device for the very first time. The phone carries a unique body design and foldable factor proffering two screen options for a size of one device, giving a brand-new user experience. The main highlight of the phone is the 7.3-inch Infinity Flex Display, which offers immersive viewing experience for the users.

As far as the prices are concerned, the South Korean company will be retailing the smartphone at an unchanged price of $1,980 or £1,800. The launch price of the Samsung Galaxy Fold is twice as the price of typical flagship phones. The Galaxy Fold device comes in two exciting shades - Cosmos Black and Space Silver.

On the specification front, the device comes with a 4.6-inch HD+ AMOLED screen when folded with an aspect ratio of 21:9. Moreover, the secondary screen measures 7.3-inch that is a QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED panel with an aspect ratio of 4.2:3. Under the hood, the flagship smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor that comes clubbed with a 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage.

For photography, Galaxy Fold comes with six cameras in total. When folded, there is a 10MP selfie snapper on the outside. The rear side gets a triple camera module comprising of a 12MP wide-angle lens with dual aperture and a 12MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultra-wide sensor. When unfolded, the smartphone features a 10MP primary camera lens with an 8MP depth sensor. To ensure that the device gives immense user experience, the company has incorporated two batteries, with a combined capacity of 4,380mAh (4,235 mAh for 5G model). The smartphone also gets fast wired charging along with wireless charging support.
