Mumbai, October 20: The Samsung Galaxy A36 launch date will be announced soon, and the device will offer mid-range specifications. Recently, Samsung launched its Galaxy A16 5G smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 at a starting price of INR 18,999, featuring a 6.7-inch sAMOLED display. The company said it would offer up to six years of OS upgrades and security updates. Now, ahead of the launch, the design of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A36 5G is leaked online.

The early leaks by a tipster (@Oneleaks) suggested a design that was different from the other devices. The triple camera setup on the rear is there, but the placement and module design appeared different from the other Galaxy smartphones. Samsung has kept the design of all its Galaxy smartphones similar but offered different features and specifications to the customers. Along with Samsung Galaxy A36 5G, the tipsters leaked the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G design ahead of their launch. The A56 5G would be similar to the Samsung Galaxy S23 design and likely be powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset. On the other hand, the A36 5G is expected to house a Snapdragon 6 Gen 2 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The design revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G would offer a punch-hole flat display and asymmetrical bezels, unchanged from the previous model. Samsung's new smartphone may include specifications and features of a mid-range device and deliver the cameras according to the segment. The device is expected to have a 7.4mm thin design—162.6 mm height and 77.9mm width.
