The South Korean tech giant Samsung introduced the Galaxy A25 5G in December 2023. In less than five months since its official debut for the first time, the mid-range offering has received a price cut of Rs. 3,000 across variants. With the latest revision, the retail price of the 128GB variant has dropped to Rs. 23,999 from Rs. 26,999. Samsung's mid-range offering sports a 6.5-inch SuperAMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It carries a resolution of 2340x1089 pixels and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Under the hood, there's an octa-core in-house Exynos 1280 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. There's also a provision for external storage support which can be expanded by microSD card up to 1TB. The phone runs on Samsung's One UI 6.0 based on Android 14 out of the box.

For photography, the Samsung Galaxy A25 comes equipped with a triple rear camera module with OIS. It comprises a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. The front camera is a 13MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls. 

The phone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast changing. It also gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security with the brand's Knox security platform which is integrated at the chip level to offer features such as Auto Blocker, Privacy Dashboard, and Samsung Passkey. The phone will receive OS upgrades for 4-years and 5-years of security updates.
