Mumbai, August 19: The South Korean tech giant Samsung on Monday officially launched the Galaxy A06 phone in Vietnam. The smartphone will be available for sale starting August 22. It comes in two variants – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. The former is priced at VND 31,90,000 (around INR 10,700) while the latter has a price tag of VND 37,90,000 (around INR 12,700). Customers buying the Galaxy A06 between August 22 and September 30 in Vietnam will get a free 25W charger.

As for specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A06 packs a 6.7-inch HD+ display with 60Hz refresh rate carrying a waterdrop notch housing a front camera. It comes powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage, which can be expanded by up to 1TB microSD card. Redmi A3x Smartphone With 6.71-inch HD+ Display, 5000mAh Battery Launched in India.

For photography, the Samsung Galaxy A06 phone gets a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary shooter carrying a similar design as that of the Galaxy A05. For security, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Samsung ships the Galaxy A06 with Android 14-based One UI 6. The phone is confirmed to get two major Android upgrades and four years of security updates. It is worth noting that the Galaxy A06 phone also comes with Samsung’s Knox Vault security system. The smartphone maker hasn’t confirmed if the phone will be launched in the Indian market.
