After launching JioPhone and JioPhone 2 in India, Reliance Jio - a leading telecom giant is gearing up something bigger. According to the report from ET Telecom, it is believed that the company might be working to launch a new JioPhone with a bigger screen. The report also claims that top-level executive from Reliance Jio has confirmed the same and the company is currently working with partners who can help them create a new affordable large-screen smartphone. There have been several reports in the market that Reliance Jio is already in talks with the Flex for manufacturing around 100 million affordable smartphones in India. The company will be banking on the users planning to upgrade from a feature phone.

However, there are confirmation from the company regarding the bigger screen smartphone from Reliance Jio. We will have to wait until we receive anything official from the company or concrete about the same. Moreover, there are no details about the smartphone wherein Reliance Jio will be introducing a new large screen phone or it will be a Jio Phone with a bigger device. As the fact that Reliance Jio had already launched Lyf smartphone brand a couple of years ago, the company is not new to smartphone industry. However, the Lyf brand failed to make an impact in the market. Now, this remains to be seen that whether the company will be introducing a whole new line-up or will continue with JioPhone series.

In order to bring down the effective prices of their smartphones, Reliance is also planning to work with other smartphone manufacturing companies such as Apple, Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi and others. Following the same strategy, the upcoming bigger screen smartphone could become a great success in domestic market.
