After revolutionizing the Indian telecom sector with affordable prepaid plans, Reliance Jio has intends to make its presence felt in the post-paid segment. In a bid to foray the segment with attractive plans, the telecom operator has introduced an entry level Rs. 199 plan to attract post-paid users. As a part of this plan, the users will be proffered with unlimited voice calling and SMS along with 25GB of high speed data. In comparison to the packs offered by the rivals, the newly introduced pack from Reliance Jio is by far the most affordable one. Another highlight of this entry level Rs. 199 post-paid plan is that it comes pre-activated for international calls as well as International roaming. According to the company, international calling and international roaming will be offered to the users without any additional monthly charges or security deposit. However, the subscribers will be required to activate international roaming with one click. Similar to prepaid plans offered by Jio, the new Rs. 199 postpaid bundles a free subscription to all Jio apps like JioTV and JioMusic.

With the new post-paid plan from Jio, the users can use ISD calling service at a starting price of 50p per minute which is also believed to be another underline of this plan offered by the company. The users will be charged 50p per minute for calling US and Canada while users calling to France, Italy, UK, Singapore, China and Bangladesh will be charged Rs. 2 per minute. However, the users will be able to make a call to Middle East countries with a charge of Rs. 4-6 per minute. Moreover, the users can use the international roaming service with outgoing calls at just Rs. 2 per minute. The company will start the subscription for the plan from May 15 onwards. Presently, the lowest monthly rental plan offered by Jio is Rs. 309.
