It was earlier this month when Xiaomi made it official that Redmi will operate as an independent brand. Bullish on the success bagged by Redmi series, the company on Thursday launched the new Redmi Note 7 smartphone in China. Launched at CNY 999 for the base variant, the smartphone comes with some exciting features like 4000 mAh battery, 48MP- dual camera, 6.3-inch notched display and much more. Moreover, the new Note 7 is the first product to be rolled out from Redmi by Xiaomi sub-brand. The company is expected to launch the phone in India soon. Redmi Note 7 Prices: The newly launched Redmi Note 7 gets a starting price of CNY 999, which is around Rs. 10,300 for the 3GB RAM variant. The mid variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory costs CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs. 12,400). The top-end model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage is priced at CNY 1,399 (around Rs. 14,500). The phone will go on sale from January 15 onwards. It is availablein three colour options - Twilight Gold, Fantasy Blue, and Bright Black colour options.
Redmi Note 7 Variants: Redmi Note 7 phone is offered in 3 variants that varies depending upon the RAM offered on the models. The base variant gets 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory. Redmi Note 7 Specifications: On the specification front, the handset gets 6.3-inch FHD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080x2340 pixels of resolution. Under the skin, the power packs an octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC mated with Adreno 512 GPU and up to 6GB RAM. The phone also gets internal storage expansion up to 256GB by using microSD card slot.
Redmi Note 7 Camera: For optics, the phone gets a dual camera module at the back. It comprises of 48MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor with dual-LED flash and AI capabilities. At the front, the phone packs a 13MP AI-enabled selfie shooter.
Redmi Note 7 Battery: Packed with 4000 mAh battery, the phone also supports Quick Charge 4. The company claims that the battery is capable of providing backup up to 13 hours of video playback, 23 hours of talk time and 7 hours of gaming.
