Redmi has unveiled the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and Redmi Note 14 Pro smartphones under its Note 14 Pro series for the home market at an event in China.
Mumbai, September 27: Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has unveiled the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and Redmi Note 14 Pro smartphones under its Note 14 Pro series for the home market at an event in China. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is offered in 3 variants – 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. The price for the phone starts at CNY 1,899 (around INR 22,000) for the base model, while the mid-variant costs CNY 2,099 (around INR 24,000). The top-end model has a price tag of CNY 2,299 (around INR 26,000). Redmi offers the Note 14 Pro+ in 3 colourways - Green, White, and Black.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro, on the other hand, comes in four configurations - 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. The base variant has an asking price of CNY 1,399 (around Rs. 13,000). The mid variants are priced at CNY 1,499 (around INR 14,000) and CNY 1,699 (around INR 20,000, respectively. The top-end model costs CNY 1,899 (around INR 22,000). The 5G phone comes in four shades - Purple, Blue, White, and Black. Samsung Galaxy M15 5G Prime Edition Launched in India.
As for specifications, both Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and Redmi Note 14 Pro sport a 6.67-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,220x2,712 pixels resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The panel supports Dolby Vision support, HDR10+ and 3000nits peak brightness. While the former gets a Qualcomm-sourced Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage, the latter is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra SoC clubbed with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and Redmi Note 14 Pro have a triple rear camera module. The former gets a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS as a primary camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX355 and a 50MP telephoto sensor. The Redmi Note 14 Pro’s triple rear camera unit comprises a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro camera. Both the phones get a 20MP selfie camera. Redmi Note 14 Pro+ has a 6,200mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, while the Redmi Note 14 Pro packs a 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Both phones are IP68-rated for protection against water and dust.
