Mumbai, June 25: Xiaomi's Redmi on Tuesday has launched a new Chromatic Purple colour variant of the Redmi Note 13 5G smartphone. It comes alongside the Redmi Note 13 Pro Scarlet Red, which also made its debut in the country today at Rs. 24,999. The new colourway comes in storage configurations - 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB wherein the base variant costs Rs. 16,999, while the other two variants have a price tag of Rs. 18,999 and Rs. 20,999, respectively. The Redmi Note 13 5G was introduced last year in India and came in three colours - Prism Gold, Arctic White and Stealth Black. Besides the new colourway, the smartphone remains unchanged in terms of specifications.
It continues to get the same 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 93.3 per cent screen-to-body ratio protected by Corning Gorilla glass. The phone is IP54 rated against dust and water protection. Talking about optics, there is a dual camera module at the back with a 108MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the phone packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 6080+ SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It runs on Xiaomi's MIUI 14 based on Android 13 OS out-of-the-box.
