Beijing, July 11: Redmi K70 Extreme Edition , also known as Redmi K70 Ultra, a new flagship smartphone, is set to launch in China on July 18, 2024, with a premium design, impressive camera setup, and powerful performance. The Redmi K70 Ultra will likely make its grand debut in China this month with an OLED display. Redmi K70 Ultra design images have been leaked online, suggesting a triple camera setup with flash on the rear. The leaks suggested the smartphone would pack a 50MP camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) support.
According to leaks by a tipster on X, the upcoming Redmi K70 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ flagship processor and have a flat display offering 1.5k resolution. The leaked images also showed that the device may support 3840Hz ultra-frequency PWN dimming below 60 nits. The post on X also suggested that the device would be called "Redmi K70 Extreme Edition." The image of the Redmi K70 Ultra's front view showed that the smartphone will have slim bezels. The MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ in the upcoming Redmi K70 Extreme Edition would offer a 2.3 million AnTuTu score, which is right on par with other smartphones that have the same processor or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Another tipster on X suggested that the smartphone would have a metal frame and offer an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 14-powered OS.
