Redmi India will officially launch the Redmi 13 5G smartphone in the country next week. The price announcement will happen done on July 9 at 12 pm IST. A micro-site of the 5G handset is already live on Amazon and the official website, revealing the design and a few key specifications ahead of its India debut. When launched, the phone will sit in the Redmi lineup as a successor to the Redmi 12 5G phone. The listing also reveals that the phone will be priced between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 15,000. Xiaomi's Redmi will offer the 5G handset in three colours – Black, Pink and Blue. The company has been claiming that the Redmi 13 5G will sport the biggest display offered on a 5G smartphone in the segment. Powering the device will be an octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC sourced from Qualcomm. The chipset will come paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Under the hood, it packs a massive 5,030 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Motorola Razr 50 Ultra Launch Set on July 4.

The brand has also confirmed that it will be the first Redmi device to boot with HyperOS out-of-the-box. For photos and videos, there will be a dual rear camera unit with a 108MP primary lens while details of the secondary camera are wrapped.

Official prices of the Redmi 13 5G will be announced on July 9. It is worth noting that Redmi 12 5G costs Rs. 11,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant, while the mid-variant with 6GB RAM is priced at Rs. 12,499. The top-end 8GB variant retails at Rs. 13,999 respectively. We reckon Redmi could launch the Redmi 13 5G at a similar price point.
