Realme India will be officially launching the much anticipated Realme X2 smartphone and the Realme Buds Air. It is also believed that the company could launch the Realme X2 Star Wars Edition. As the company has been teasing the devices on its social media accounts, not much is left to anticipate about the devices. The launch event will start from 12:30 pm IST onwards in New Delhi wherein the company will be announcing the prices of the devices. Once launched, Realme Buds Air will be available sale post-launch at 2 pm IST via a special sale hosted by the phone maker. Apart from the regular version of Realme X2, we will be also be seeing Realme X2 Star Wars edition. It is important to note that the Realme X2 will be the phone maker's mid-range premium offering that will be powered by a new Snapdragon 730G chipset.
Coming to Realme Buds Air, the true wireless earphones show much design resemblance to Apple AirPods. The earbuds will be offered in three exciting colours - Yellow, Black, and White. The earphones will offer support touch control features allowing the users to control the music. Previous reports also claimed that the Realme Buds Air will be launched at Rs 4,999 that was accidentally listed on Flipkart.
Specification-wise, the Realme X2, and Realme X2 Star Wars edition will be offered with the same specifications as that of China. The smartphone will get a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080x2340 pixels of resolution. The device will also get a waterdrop notch above and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. For photography, the phone will sport quad-cameras at the rear comprising of a 64MP Samsung-sourced GW1 sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, two 2MP macro and depth sensors. At the front, there will be a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calling. The phone will be backed by a massive 4,000 mAh battery with 30W VOOC flash charge support.
