Realme X2 Pro Smartphone Teased on Flipkart Ahead of India Launch; Expected Price, Features & Specifications

Realme, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is gearing up for the launch of Realme X2 Pro smartphone in India. Ahead of its official launch, the smartphone has been teased on Flipkart highlighting the debut of the phone. As a reminder, the company announced the launch of Realme X2 Pro in India last month, which will be pitted against Redmi K20 Pro and OnePlus 7T. Moreover, the phone is expected to come with 90Hz Fluid display with flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. The smartphone that is listed on the microsite hints Realme X2 Pro will be retailed in India exclusively via Flipkart. However, the phone is also expected to be made available via the Realme official website and offline channels. The microsite carries a tagline - 'Faster. Sharper. Bolder’ that featured on the company's formal 'Save the Date' mail, which was sent last month.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the new Realme X2 Pro is likely to sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED 90Hz Fluid display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels and aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC that will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal space.
For photography, the Realme X2 Pro will be equipped with a quad-camera setup at the back comprising of a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 13MP secondary telephoto lens, an 8MP tertiary lens with a 115-degree ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the new Realme X2 Pro will pack a 16MP Sony IMX471 lens with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
The phone will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 50W SuperVOOC Flash Charging support. For connectivity, the phone is expected to be shipped with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Last month, the company revealed the Realme X2 Pro smartphone in China with a starting price of CNY 2699 (approximately Rs 27,300) for the base variant – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. The bigger variant with 8GB of RAM + 128GB storage costs CNY 2899 (around Rs 29,300) whereas the top-end version with 12GB of RAM + 256GB storage is priced at CNY 3299 (approximately Rs 33,400). However, the smartphone prices for the Indian market are yet to be revealed.
