Realme, the Chinese smartphone brand will be hosting a 'Realme Camera Innovation Event' in New Delhi by next week. The phone maker will be unveiling a new smartphone at the event, which is scheduled to happen on August 8, 2019. The handset will feature a quad-camera module with a 64MP lens. Moreover, the company has already shared the official invite for the same to the Indian media. Previously, we also saw couple of teasers in regards to the 64MP camera technology from the brand. The company also teased the same 'Leap to Quad Camera' picture featuring a 64MP lens in a quad-camera module, which is similar to the official invite. Moreover, the company has managed to keep the smartphone name under wrap till now and there are no details available in the market yet. There are speculations that the company might opt for an ultra-wide angle lens with depth sensor and a telephoto camera apart from the hyped 64MP primary lens.
Additionally, the initial information regarding the smartphone was shared last month by the Realme CEO - Madhav Sheth on Twitter. In his tweet, he dubbed the smartphone as a new premium killer, which will feature a 64MP GW1 sensor that will be borrowed from Samsung. He also shared sample images taken from the smartphone with watermark.

Currently, the brand offers Realme X smartphone that comes with a 48MP camera setup which was launched in India last month. The recently launched Realme X device comes in two different versions. The base model comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is priced at Rs 16,999 whereas the bigger 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version costs Rs 19,999.

The main underlines of the device are 48MP rear camera and a full-screen display featuring a pop-up selfie snapper. The device features a bigger 6.53-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the skin, the company offers Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. Running the latest ColorOS 6 based on Android 9.0 Pie, the device is backed by a 3,765 mAh of battery.
