Mumbai, June 24: The Chinese smartphone maker Realme has silently launched a new top-end 12GB + 256GB variant of P1 Pro in India. Priced at Rs. 22,999, the top-of-the-line variant will be available on June 26 at Flipkart and the company’s official website. Customers can get an instant discount of Rs. 2,000 on bank transactions. Previously, the Realme P1 Pro smartphone was introduced in 2 configurations - 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, priced at Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 20,999 respectively. Apart from the RAM upgrade, the overall specifications of the smartphone remain unchanged. It packs the same 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it has a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging support with a VC cooling system for heat dissipation. It draws power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, which now comes paired up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The mid-range smartphone is available in two colours - Phoenix Red and Parrot Blue.
For photography, the Realme P1 Pro has a triple rear camera setup housed in a circular module. It comprises an OIS-enabled 50MP Sony primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is a 16MP snapper with f/2.4 aperture for video calls and selfies. It runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 OS out-of-the-box. The company has promised to provide OS updates for two years.
Realme will also launch the C61 budget smartphone in the country on June 28. It is likely to be priced under Rs. 10,000. The phone is expected to feature an HD+ display, UNISOC Speedtrum T612 SoC, 5000mAh battery, and Android 14 OS.
