Realme, the Chinese phone maker, is all set to host a special event on December 20, 2021. During the event, the company is expected to introduce three new technologies related to fast charging, display, along with the GT 2 Series models. The launch event will commence at 9:00 am UTC (2:30 pm IST) and will be live-streamed via Realme's YouTube channel. Last month, it was reported that Realme has started testing its upcoming ultra-premium flagship device called 'Realme GT 2 Pro'. The phone is said to be the first smartphone in the GT 2 Series.

Not many features of the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone are known. The phone maker has confirmed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. In addition to this, Realme GT 2 Pro will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

Last month, tipster EvLeaks had leaked the renders of the GT 2 Pro phone, which revealed a horizontal camera system comprising a triple rear camera. The device might sport a 6.8-inch WQHD+ flat OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The rear camera module might get a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP telephoto shooter. Coming to the pricing, Realme GT 2 Pro might be priced over $800 (Rs 60,000).
