Scheduled to be launched today in India, the Realme 5i smartphone will be sold online exclusively via Flipkart. The launch event is scheduled to start at 12.30 pm IST onwards, which be streamed online via Realme’s official YouTube channel. Specification-wise, the upcoming Realme 5i handset will sport a 6.52-inch IPS LCD waterdrop notched display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, there will be an octa-core chipset from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 665 SoC that will be mated with up to 4GB of RAM. The internal storage of up to 64GB on the Realme 5i phone can be expanded by adding a microSD card. As far as the colour options are concerned, the handset will be offered in two colour options – Blue and Green.
Coming to the camera department, there will be an 8MP snapper upfront for seamless video calls and selfies. Moreover, the phone will be equipped with quad cameras at the back wherein the primary lens with a 12MP snapper that will function in combination with an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor and two 2MP snappers for macro and depth respectively. Running Android Pie based on ColorOS 6.1 out-of-the-box, the phone will be backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.
