Realme, the Chinese smartphone brand revealed its new Quad Camera technology last week. After unveiling the same, the brand is all set to launch the smartphone in India. Scheduled to be launched on August 20, the smartphone will be retailed online via Flipkart as a teaser reveals that it would be called Realme 5-series. The launch event is scheduled for next week and it will be live streamed via company's official YouTube channel and social media accounts. The launch event is slated to commence from 12:30PM onwards.

The company will be launching two new smartphones under the Realme 5 Series that will be called as Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro. It is important to note that these devices will be introduced as successor to Realme 3 and Realme 3 Pro respectively. As a reminder, the Realme 3 Series was introduced last year. The main underline of the smartphone will be a quad camera setup at the back. However, the module is expected to be offered on Realme 5 Pro. The Realme 5 Series will not be offered with 64MP sensor and presently there is no official word regarding the camera sensor. More details will be revealed at the launch event.
