Realme has finally unveiled its second smartphone Realme 2 in India. Launched at an event held in New Delhi, Realme 2 devices starts at Rs 8,990.  The sale for the device is slated for September 4 at 12 noon exclusively on Flipkart. Being the most awaited budget smartphone of the year, Realme packs a few features which determine itself as something #ANotchAbove. The phone comes in two models, the base variant of 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM priced at Rs 8,990. Whereas, the top-end model comes with a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM at Rs 10,990. During the event, CEO of Realme India, Madhav Seth also introduced a new service to their customers called ‘Callme’ a helpline service that will cater to users after-sales services, which offers door to door drops and delivery system. Coming to the specifications, the smartphone sports a large 6.23-inch FHD+ display with a notch on top, also the screen gets a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC powers the device with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB internal memory with dedicated expandable memory slot up to 256GB. Whereas to keep the smartphone ticking, it carries a 4,230 mAh battery. The phone runs on latest ColorOS based on Android Oreo 8.1 operating systems. On the optics side, Realme 2 comes with a dual camera setup of 13MP + 2MP sensors at the rear. The phone carries an 8MP selfie shooter at the front with AI capabilities. As for security options, Realme 2 phone comes with three unlocking options: a fingerprint reader, face-unlock and smart unlock.
