Realme 2 Pro, a bigger spec variant of Realme 2 smartphone is scheduled to be launched in India on September 27. The device will be retailed online exclusively via Flipkart. Once launched in the country, the device will be pitted against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 6 Series and others. Recently, the company introduced the Realme 2 - a successor of Realme 1, which is touted as a popular entry-level android device. Realme CEO - Madhav Seth recently confirmed in an interview that the company has retailed more than 3.7 lakh units of Realme 2 in the first two flash sales. After receiving a huge response from the audience, the Chinese smartphone will be introducing the 'Pro' variant of the Realme 2 next week. It is also expected that the company might hold a flash sale for the new Realme 2 Pro like the regular Realme 2 version. With few days left for the launch, Realme 2 Pro has appeared on the benchmarking website - Geekbench revealing specification details. Madhav Seth confirmed that the device will be more expensive than the Realme 1 device. This hints that the device will fall in the budget smartphone space. The smartphone is expected to be priced from Rs 12,000 bracket and the top-of-the-line edition could be priced below under Rs 20,000. As far as the benchmarking details are concerned, the new Realme 2 Pro smartphone is expected to sport a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with 2340X1080px of resolution and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Moreover, the handset is rumoured to feature a taller display with screen-to-body ratio of about 91%. The listing also reveals that the Realme 2 Pro will be fitted with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. Under the hood, the smartphone will also be packed with an octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC. More details about the device will be revealed on the launch day itself.
