It was at the launch of Realme 2, when the company officially teased Realme 2 Pro smartphone. Confirming the same, the Chinese smartphone maker has officially sent out 'Block Your Date' invites to the media. The new Realme 2 Pro smartphone is expected to be launched on September 27. The upcoming bigger variant of Realme 2 will be priced below Rs 20,000 mark. As far as the specs are concerned, the Pro variant of Realme 2 could borrow few aspects from the recently launched handset. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, which could be mated to a 6GB of RAM. The Realme 2 Pro could be a major upgrade over Realme 2 that was launched in last month. As a reminder, Realme 2 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ with resolution of 720X1520px and aspect ratio of 19:9. It is packed with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU and up to 4GB of RAM. For optics, the smartphone sports a dual rear camera module comprising of a 13MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is an 8MP sensor with a fixed focus and f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. The smartphone also comes with Face Unlock feature as well as rear-facing fingerprint sensor. As far as the storage is concerned, the Realme 2 device is offered in 2 variants - 32GB and 64GB along with expandable option up to 256GB via microSD card. The smartphone is fitted with a 4,230mAh battery and runs Color OS 5.1 on Android 8.1 Oreo.
