Now, the company is planning to introduce the lightweight version of the game, called PUBG Lite for the Indian audience. The PUBG Lite is expected to make its way to the Indian market by the end of this month. The lighter version of the game is already available in the countries such as Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Brazil and Taiwan. This piece of information came across from the official PUBG India Facebook page wherein an image was posted featuring a silhouette of the Taj Mahal with words mentioned - ‘PUBG LITE Coming Soon.’ PUBG Lite is essentially a toned-down version of the original PC Version of the game, which is compatible with lower-end PCs and laptops. With PUBG Lite the user don't require any dedicated GPU for best gaming experience.
Though the official launch date is not yet announced, it is speculated that the company might launch PUBG Lite by the end of this month. Moreover, various discussion on social media and Discord hint that there is possibility that the company might announce the launch of PUBG Lite during the Steam Sale around June 25.
Considering affordability as biggest reason for the popularity of the mobile version, the PUBG Lite could too attract majority of the Indian audience that don't have high-end performance PCs or Laptops. Smartphone being easily accessible to all, so PUBG Mobile is easy to access. Similarly, PUBG Lite could do wonders for the company has it will not require performance hardware to experience the game.
