Mumbai, August 1: Poco will officially launch a new M6 Plus smartphone in the M Series for the Indian market. The price for the upcoming Poco smartphone will be announced today at 4 PM IST. The phone will join the existing Poco M6 and Poco M6 Pro in the brand’s lineup. Once launched, the 5G handset will retail exclusively via Flipkart and the official Poco website. The phone maker has been teasing the handset lately and recently confirmed the Poco M6 Plus’ specifications and design details to build excitement.
Poco M6 Plus will be the segment-only model to pack a dual-side glass design. It will pack a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by corning gorilla glass. It’s worth noting that the screen size is the same as the Poco M6 Pro and slightly taller than the one seen on the standard M6. Powering the M6 Plus will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (Accelerated Edition) SoC that could come paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Poco will offer M6 Plus in three colourways - Misty Lavender, Ice Silver and Graphite Black. The Poco M6 Plus will be the first M series handset to run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS out of the box based on Android 14 OS. Tecno Camon 30S Pro Listed on Official Website Ahead of Launch.
For optics, the Poco M6 Plus will have a dual rear camera setup with a ring flash design. The unit comprises a 108MP shooter with a large 1.75-inch aperture and a 3X zoom sensor. It is an upgrade over the M6 Pro’s and M6’s 50MP lens. The front camera is a 13MP snapper for selfies and video calling. It will pack a massive 5030mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
