Last week, Xiaomi India introduced its new sub-brand POCO to the Indian market. With much-received appreciation on its official Twitter handle, the new smartphone manufacturer hinted at launching its first flagship smartphone named POCOPHONE F1 in India soon. So what can we expect from this company? Well for starters, POCO India has promised its users on Twitter with high performance in terms of speed. Earlier, a tipster website – SlashLeaks.com revealed an unboxing video of the POCO smartphone, which revealed many specifications. As per the video, the POCOPHONE F1 carries the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Whereas, the device may sport a 5.9-inch FHD+ IPS display. The smartphone could come in three variants - 64 GB ROM + 6 GB RAM, 128 GB ROM + 6 GB RAM and 256 GB + 8 GB RAM. Coming to the optics, the device may carry a dual rear camera of 12MP + 5MP sensors, whereas, at the front, it could incorporate a 20MP lens. The video also showcased a fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone. Also on the software side, the device could run on Android 8.1 Oreo OS based on MIUI 9.5.

As for prices, the smartphone could be priced around Rs 34,000 and is rumoured to be available by September 30. The phone may come in five colours: Red, Grey, Blue, Gradient and Kevlar. As per the details, the upcoming flagship POCOPHONE F1 smartphone may compete against the OnePlus 6 devices since both the smartphones feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC at affordable prices.
