Oppo India Launch Event LIVE Updates: Oppo Reno 4 Pro Smartphone & Oppo Watch Launched in India; Prices, Features & Specifications

Oppo Mobile India has finally launched the new Oppo Reno 4 Pro smartphone in India at Rs. 34,990 for the sole 8GB RAM variant. The phone will go on the first sale on August 5 along with special launch offers. Additionally, the company has also launched Oppo Watch in India with a starting price of Rs 14,990 for the 41mm version. Moreover, the 46mm version will retail at Rs 19,990. 

The new Oppo Smartwatch heart rate monitoring, fitness tracking, sleeping quality, get up reminders and much more. Additionally, the watch contains five exercise senses which can monitor exercise scenarios.

The company is offering the Oppo Watch in various colour options. The 46mm version comes in two shades - Black and Glossy Gold whereas the 41mm model gets three colours - Silver Mist, Black & Pink Gold.

Oppo Mobile India has also revealed the new Oppo Watch alongside the Oppo Reno 4 Pro smartphone. It comes with a 1.91-inch AMOLED screen offering a resolution of 402X476 pixels along with 332 PPI and 100 percent DCI-P3

The new Oppo Reno 4 Pro smartphone gets quad rear camera setup. It comprises of a 48MP primary shooter along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The company is also offering Night Flare Portrait ensuring low light portrait images.

Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset which is based on the 8nm process. The chipset is clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The company has used graphite tube cooling technology with 3D multi-cooling system.

The new Oppo Reno 4 Pro smartphone comes in two exciting shades - Starry Night and Silky White. The phone gets 65W fast charging technology that is claimed charge the device in just 36 minutes.

The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate along with 180Hz touch sampling rate, 20:9 aspect ratio and 402 PPI.

The new Oppo Reno 4 Pro smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch 3D borderless sense screen for a vivid and immersive experience. It also gets 92.01 screen-to-body ratio which elevates the viewing experience to another level. The overall design of the Reno Pro 4 is accentuated by its stunting curved edges with a slope angle of 55.9 degrees.

India is the first country to get the Oppo Reno 4 series. It is important to note that the Reno range has been Oppo's hallmark for new technologies, says Product Manager - Akshay Gupta.

The upcoming Oppo Reno 4 Pro smartphone is likely to sport a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a single punch-hole housing a 32MP front camera. 

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer launched the new Oppo Reno 4 Series in the home market last month. It comprised of the Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro. However, the company is expected to launch only the higher model- Reno 4 Pro today.

The company has already confirmed that the upcoming Oppo Reno 4 Pro smartphone will come with brand's 65W fast charging technology, 3D curved 90Hz refresh rate display, 4000 mAh battery. More details and specifications will be revealed during the launch event.
