Oppo India is all set to launch the new Oppo Reno 2 smartphone in the domestic market today. The launch event of Oppo Reno 2 will commence at 3PM IST onwards. The main highlight of the new Oppo Reno 2 is quad camera with 20X Zoom technology. It is important to note that the Chinese phone maker is launching the smartphone in the Indian market first, followed by the home market. The phone will be launched in China on September 10, 2019. The company is also expected to launch new Oppo Reno 2Z and Oppo Reno 2F alongside the Reno 2. Oppo Reno 2 with Quad-cam, 20x Zoom Announced.

The launch is scheduled to commence from 3PM IST onwards, wherein the phone maker will broadcasting the launch event on its social media platforms as well as official YouTube channel. You can watch the live streaming here.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the phone maker has confirmed some of the specifications for the new Oppo Reno 2. The smartphone will be equipped with a 6.55-inch AMOLED Panoramic notch-less display. The panel will carry aspect ratio of 20:9 along with 93.1 percent screen to body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core chipset - Snapdragon 730G. The SoC will be mated with 8GB of RAM and internal space of up to 256GB. The handset will pack a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 support.

As per the several leaks, the Oppo Reno 2 will carry a quad camera module at the back which will comprise of 48MP primary camera, 13MP sensor, an 8MP lens and 2MP sensors. The phone will get 2X optical zoom, 5X hybrid zoom and 20x hybrid zoom. The module will also sport OIS and EIS for video stabilisation, ultra-steady video mode for up to 60fps, and much more.
