Oppo R17 Pro smartphone launched in China, features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, QSD 710 SoC, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM and 3,700 mAh battery with Super VOOC charge.
Oppo has launched Oppo R17 Pro smartphones in China on August 23. Unveiled at an event held in Shanghai, Oppo R17 Pro is the first device to have the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for screen protection and has a few other unique features like triple rear cameras. The new smartphone supports Super VOCC flash charger for fast- charging purposes. The company claims that its fast charging technology will charge the phone up to 40 percent in a matter of 10 minutes. Priced at RMB 4,299 (Approx. Rs 43,800), the phone comes in a shiny blue gradient colour and will be available in the Chinese market by mid-October. Coming to the specifications, the device sports a 91.5 percent screen to body ratio of 6.4-inch AMOLED display with the Water Drop notch. Whereas, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC powers the smartphone. The processor is paired with an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. To keep the phone ticking, Oppo R17 Pro carries a 3,700mAh battery, which is divided into two halves of 1,850mAh. Each half enables the 50W Super VOOC charging technology to achieve its feat of 40 percent charge in 10 minutes. Running the smartphone is the latest ColorOS 5.1 based on Android Oreo 8.1 OS. Oppo R17 Pro features a triple camera setup, where the first lens is a 12MP with a dual aperture of f/1.5 - f/2.4 and the second sensor comes with a 20MP aperture set at f/2.6. The third camera is a TOF 3D stereo camera, which is used to gather detailed 3D information. The TOF 3D stereo camera will help in illuminating a scene by using infrared or near-infrared light that can measure the distance between itself and objects within that scene. On the security side, the device supports both fingerprint scanner and face-unlock utilities.
